About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in preparing treatment areas and equipment.
- Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks under supervision when appropriate under physical therapist or PTA supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment and help to ensure linens are clean.
- Prepare and apply modalities as appropriate under physical therapist or PTA supervision.
- Prepare and manage patient documentation and files.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to patients.
- Monitor patient progress and report observations to therapists.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and performing front desk work as ocassionally needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in health sciences preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate demeanor and a passion for helping others.
- Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology is advantageous.
- Must be able to lift and assist patients as needed.
- Current CPR certification is preferred but not required.
